Monthly Camp: January 29th, 2011
Monthly or 1-day Camps are one of the easiest and most fun ways to learn and practice chess for less.
The subject of this month was ‘HOW TO WIN’- a subject that many will find the largest challenge of their chess career. In each of 3 groups we concentrated on subjects of Opening traps, Trading in Winning positions, Opponent’s Threats, focusing on the target, Time management and more. Each group also had a chance to practice certain positions in live games against multiple opponents. Prizes, inner- competitiveness, fun environment and even the food break provided the much needed diversity to maximize the benefits of a 2-hour chess camp. Groups ranged from 4 years olds to 85 year olds!
Thank You all for coming and see you next time.
